About Dusty My photo journalist father, a 40+ year career newspaperman, was my first instructor for the camera and photography. After years of working for other publishers, he decided to publish his own newspapers. He made the business a family affair. By the age of 13, I was fully trained as a backup photographer for local sporting event assignments. I have been fortunate to learn from many other accomplished teachers in the years since. Your wedding or celebration is unique and I try to tailor each assignment and collection of photographs to the couple or individual. The emphasis is on making and providing great photographs that capture, the day, the moment, and the essence of the people in the photographs. I tend to specialize in unique / non-traditional weddings and natural setting portraits. I limit the number of weddings each month to allow the proper time and attention needed to serve both wedding clients and portrait clients.
